Important Pro Drill Designer Info Now That We Have Launched the "Individual-User, Web-direct" Campaign

Yesterday was a big day for flexxCOACH with the launch of our latest product, the Pro Drill Designer (PDD) and a promotional campaign, '12 Days of flexxCOACH' which has been designed to build some social media-based buzz around the product and our company.

In addition, if you have not yet had a chance to click thru on yesterday's email, you will see a completely redesigned, awesomely-slick flexxCOACH home page as well as a great new approach to our product landing pages first initiated with the new PDD landing page.  We have similar plans to do the same for the practice planner landing page.

I wanted to communicate a couple of things I feel important associated with the PDD launch:

General
  • If you have not already noticed, all current PDD marketing-messaging is intended to drive visitors toward individual purchases via the web.
  • While a Practice Planner subscription offers (what is now rudimentary -- compared to the new PDD) drill design functionality, the PDD is being positioned as an add-on set of enhanced features for coaches who want/need to do a great deal of drill creation and who require the flexibility to maintain their drill databases both on their desktop (when traveling w/o web access, for instance) and online.  Roughly, the features/functionality of the PDD are in the order of 10X what one can do with the embedded drill designer in the Practice Planner.
    • I direct your attention to the interactive demo section here (lower left feature chart with links to the demo screen)
  • Web-direct, individual-user pricing is $69.95 per license.
    • As you should know by now because you have downloaded and hopefully played with the product, PDD is PC/Windows-based desktop software.  The $69.95 purchase price entitles the buyer to unlimited use for an unlimited period of time.
      • There will be the opportunity for "maintainence upgrades", but I will cover that in a separate posting.
Team Solutions Selling
  • Ultimately, the new PDD creates an opportunity for us open new dialog or rekindle past dialog that may have petered out.
  • Our approach/objective will to position the PDD as a valuable upsell to/for as many in the org as want to use it.  Of course, when used in conjunction with the Practice Planner there's a powerful 1-2 punch as outlined on the landing pages linked to above.
  • We expect to have complete Team Solutions Packaging that offers the combined 1-2 punch of PDD and Practice Planner after the first of the year.  We still have several wrinkles to iron out with respect to the technical inter-operability of the PDD and Practice Planner products before we can come to market.  This is why the first-leg of the launch is to individuals-only
What You Can Be Doing In The Meantime
  • Use and get to know the product so you are a domain expert
  • Talk it up at every opportunity
  • Begin thinking and/or testing waters (for the combined Pract-Planner / PDD solution) within orgs with which you have strong ties.
Update 12-20:   Just to be clear-  Currently, flexxCOACH does not support Macs when it comes to any of our Drill Design Desktop Apps.   Also, we will continue to bundle the old version of the drill designer (for download to Win/PC desktop) with our Practice Planner.   The Pro Drill Designer should be positioned as a upgrade to what comes for free... more features and functionality.
