Guys, these deals are out there!
As we transition to mid-season mode, there are many tricks/tweaks at our disposal to creatively close deals:
- As already noted- the 6mo pricing option reduces the price by 1/3.
- Cross-Program Combined Purchasing: As you may have seen in yesterday's Light the Lamp, we launched a program yesterday that facilitates individual HS/MS coaches to 'gang their interest' to get group buying rates. On a smaller scale, you might try the same. Here's an example:
- Invite interested orgs who just dont have enough teams to get deep enough discounts to recruit their pals in other orgs to join in. If we were presented 2 or more POs from you at the same time, we would bulk the order and provide the corresponding discount.
- In-kind barter to obtain additional price reductions. Before you go this route (even bringing it up with the prospect!) you should huddle with me. In certain scenarios we would entertain additional price discounts if the conditions are right. Examples:
- The org owns their own rink/s (multi-sheets best) and in exchange for additional pricing concessions they agree to allowing us to hang 8' X 4' banners under scoreboard stating something like: "{program logo} is powered by flexxCOACH logo. Learn more at www.demos.flexxcoach.com
- If the org hosts big tourneys we get their commitment for full-page ad
- Any other low-cost ways to take advantage of advertising / promo assets the org may possess will be considered.
