The question has come up several times over the last week whether we offer a 6-month pricing option for team solutions. Up until now we have not- deliberately. The reasons against doing so include:
1) there's already a nice discount based on volume
2) because most programs will tend to think about flexx at the beginning of the season and most seasons go Sept-March, if we offered a 6mo program, we believe most would opt for it because they are buying closer to what they plan to use.
3) We book less revenue!
However, because the question is coming up and money is tight for many programs, we have decided to give you the ability and leave it to your discretion if you believe you need to offer 6-month pricing in order to close a transaction. While we will not publish the 6-mo option on the price list, you are free to bring it up if you are asked or if you think you must to get the price down to a price to which they will respond favorably.
Here's how the 6-mo pricing will work: At each level on the TeamSolutions price list, you can offer 6-mo pricing of 2/3 the published price. For instance, the 11-20 per team 12-mo price on the pricelist is $127. The 6-mo price will be $127 * 2/3 or $85 (rounded up to the nearest dollar).
