eMail Volume Target 50 / 50 / 50 = 150 emails per week

While many of you are at different stages of training and/or the selling process, I wanted to paint a picture for you all about the importance of regular contact to your unresponsive contacts. I alluded to this in the last Flexx-flash (Vol 2) which I have copied below. I strongly recommend you re-read it as there are several pieces of important info. Here's an excerpt (from email below) of the '150-pings' concept I want to further develop:

* It is also important that you assign yourself a new activity for a week out to follow up with a call (when numbers are listed). You will be automatically reminded when this activity is due. I would resend the email if your call goes to VM-- even state you will be doing so. Have your elevator pitch ready when you make that call. Should be able to deliver it in 10-15 seconds. Use the opening paragraph of the email and perhaps some info from closing paragraph. Reference that the email has a link to a short, highly instructive video.
o If no phone number, set up an activity to re-email in a week's time.
o I am thinking 3 emails 1per week for 3 weeks. Use Zoho to assign yourself email and/or phone follow up tasks out over 3 wks.

Developing this concept further, the recommended 50 emails a week actually becomes 150 by your third week of outreach... and stays at that level. IF YOU HAVE BEEN AT IT FOR 3 OR MORE WEEKS, YOU SHOULD BE TARGETING 150 EMAILS, NOT 50. Here's an illustration/example:

In order to keep yourself sane and organized regarding the status of your weekly batches, you should leverage the power of Zoho. I have some suggestions on this that go beyond assigning yourself individual tasks which could become both tedious to input and maddening when the reminders start hitting. It has do do with the ability Zoho gives you to generate custom views of your contacts by any criteria you set. You could sort your contacts by out reach date and then generate a mass email (which will automatically be customized). Of course, this does not address the phone aspect which is critical if you have the contact's phone #. But I have ideas here to that can/will help you.

The 4 of you actively in outreach mode have recv'd an email asking for times we can meet 1 on 1 ASAP this week. As part of this meeting I will show you some of these high productivity tricks.

For those of you still in training... just be aware this is around the corner.

Over and out.
