As always-- we wanna refine this puppy into a well-oiled power play with high-scoring conversion rates-- so it's important you always pass along any ideas, observations, concerns, roadblocks, etc.
We are beginning to wonder if the graphic email we are sending in round 1 may be getting caught in spam filters. To address this, I have added a new template to contact email engine called "repeat email text version". This is a text only email, but still includes the all-important link to the video landing page (as well as the code that will route any web-form info back to you).
New Zoho Procedure for 2nd + 3rd round emails
- Adopt the 3-phase strategy: If you have not already started this practice, you must adopt the 3-week cycle strategy outlined in my last flexx-flash. (Recall the 50/50/50 grid-- if not - GO READ THE EMAIL!)
- 2nd & 3rd emails should be text: Please use the new text template for all emails you send after the 1st email. I want to continue with the graphic email the 1st time around. (you will find there is no other option in the dropdown)
- Follow 2nd email with an immediate phone call: When you have a phone number, pls place a call and use the elevator pitch I provide in the "campaigns" tab. Feel free to refine the language so it flows naturally for you, but these are the message-elements I feel will most compel the recipient to look for and open the email. Of course, we are trying to drive people to the video which we feel does the best job at elevator-pitching our value proposition to youth hockey orgs. You should be able to deliver the message in 20 seconds and it should sound unscripted. 90% of time it will go to VM. For the 10% where they pick up, be prepared to dance. You will be given spans of 10 seconds in which you must win the next 10 seconds. If it's a household number, then all bets are off!
2 requests: 1) let me know if you have any Q's. Otherwise, 2) pls ping me back to confirm you understand what I am asking and will do your best to execute. ...ITS THAT IMPORTANT!
Thanks,
