However, sometimes inquiries will come in via the website or your hockey network. As soon as we can, we will commit webdev resources toward expanding the online ordering options to include single team and 2-5 team group orders (translation- automate it so it's an ecommerce transaction).
Until then, we need to handle these manually and below is a "case study" (for one that came in thru the web) on how you should handle such requests. I handled this one because we did not yet have a formal process in place. Now we do... from now on, I will be passing these inquiries to you.
Process Overview:
- I will pass the phone or email inquiry to you.
- You should engage in email dialog... Try to avoid doing a demo... send them to the video landing page and let them know that if they can get the coaching coord or pres to join in on the call, you'd be happy to do a demo (must be tactful delivering this message)
- As our web-dev resources free up, we plan to post mini-feature demos on the site. This will allow you to direct situations like this to an area where prospects can become familiar on their own
- Once this page is established, we also will soon be recording a full demo via GoToMeeting that can be posted on this page.
- Spin it as an introductory special deal to get our foot in door with org (indicate we dont really offer single-team 3-coach licenses except when part of an org-wide deployment)
- Use the single-team generic quotation which spells this out
- Leverage an email message like the one below to re-inforce the message
