New Intern Signed - Will Produce a Q&A documentary - We will be tapping into flexxers for insights!

If you haven't had a chance to do so, click here to see the internship write-up for a role that will help to define and create a library of unique and valuable video assets that will propel our company in many ways.   You will see that the crux of the project is coming up with provocative "Larry King-like" questions that will keep the conversation moving and full of lively content.

We are ready to put this project into gear as I have just secured a puckster intern (Sean Patterson) this morning who recently graduated from Amherst College and will not start working on Wall St til fall.  He has some experience at CBS network and has played the game his entire life.  He's perfect for the project.  We also have access to an experienced web sports broadcaster (ESPN, NESN) and a digital cameraman...  all a no cost.

We will be hitting you guys up for your thoughts in terms of topics we should have our founders cover.

Here's why this will be huge for flexx:

Our founders are authority figures at the peak of the hockey coaching pyramid.  They are also hockey parents who have coached your kids while also witnessing the foolishness.  They have infinite wisdom to share with us "shmoes" who love the game and want to do well by it and the kids, but dont always know how.

  • Marketing Exposure
    • I plan to use these 30-60sec topical clips as part of a viral marketing strategy on Facebook which will drive awareness and purchases for indiv. licenses & Team/Org licenses
    • I plan to start sending "tip of the week" emails (which will include a clip) to all flexx subsribers as well as coaches in our growing d-base (new sales force has over 750 targets in our d-base and it will grow to 1000's by end of summer)
  • Product Enhancement
    • We are working on securing game-play video clips (like Constantine's) that will ultimately be searchable in same way drill animations are.  Eventually we will also include material like we are recording in this project to cover the philosophy side of the equation.  Again- topical, quick-hit pearls of wisdom that youth coaches can quickly access to help them better manage situations with players, parents, officiating, and other coaches.
I am close to securing a 2nd intern to create 30-60 second feature demos we can use to both educate during the sale process and during on-boarding.   The social media internship still "in hunt mode".
