Yesterday two of our newest reps, Hunter Boldt and Peter Brenner did practice demos. Every time I participate in these exercises I learn something new and come away with ideas for improvement.
With Peter and Hunter's help, I yesterday I recognized a MAJOR oversight in the demo outline I prepared that you all are going by. I somehow overlooked crucial basic: The company elevator pitch and hockey background/summary of our co-founders & yourself
As both Peter and Hunter did, at the very beginning you should introduce flexxcoach by citing our elevator pitch (draft below) and then outlining the hockey backgrounds of the co-founders (on our website). You should then go into your own hockey background and that you are a user of the product. This is 3-4 minutes that is well invested in generating massive credibility. I have updated the demo outline to include this step as the 2nd topic after asking how much time the prospect is able to spend on the call.
Please internalize this elevator pitch so that it flows off your tongue (this will likely evolve as elevator pitches always do...) I will create a separate doc in dropbox and let you know via a flexx flash when changes are made:
